Some 74 out of 100 children suffering from cancer are healed in Belarus

Some 74 out of 100 patients, who developed cancer when a child, are healed in Belarus, BelTA was informed by director of the republican scientific center of children’s oncology and hematology Professor and Doctor of Medicine Olga Aleinikova. According to her, the results of treatment in the Belarusian center are one of the best among the CIS member-states. Moreover, they can be compared with the ones in the leading world hospitals. From 60 to 85 per cent of young patients are saved in the countries of Western Europe. Treatment of oncological diseases requires huge funds. Hospitals need colossal financial assets to purchase medical and diagnostic equipotent, medical preparations. In Belarus the state covers all these expenses.
