Program on refocusing agricultural production in Bragin region proves effective

Alexander Lukashenko has valued positively the progress in the program on refocusing the agricultural production in the affected territories of the Bragin region. During today’s visit to the sovkhoz “komarinskiy” the president was informed about the high efficiency of the new cattle breeding technologies. The high results came through close interaction of science and production. The program on refocusing agricultural production on the contaminated land helped the sovkhoz “Komarinskiy” increase the product profitability up to 35 per cent, while four years ago it was 9 per cent in the negative territory. The company specializes in meat cattle farming breeding French breed cows which are considered one of the most productive in the meat cattle breeding.
