The exposition “Belarus. The Taste of Nature” is running at the UzProdExpo and UzAgroExpo international food and agriculture exhibitions that are running in Tashkent from 22 to 24 November, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
The Belarusian exposition was organized by the Belinterexpo enterprise and features four companies: Postavy Dairy Plant, Belarus-Uzbekistan company Bretta (that represents Luninets Dairy Plant), Slutsk Cheese Making Plant and Gomel Meat Processing Plant.
On the opening day, the Belarusian exposition was visited by Chairman of the Uzbekistan Food Industry Association Bahodir Umirshaykhov.
At the UzProdExpo exhibition in Tashkent, Postavy Dairy Plant is showcasing its signature products, including Cheddar Red, Parmesan Grand and Maasdam cheeses. These products are believed to have the brightest export prospects in Uzbekistan.
Bretta is taking part in the exhibition for the first time. The joint venture presents its powdered milk products made by Luninets Dairy Plant. They include the Milk Droplet brand of powdered dairy products made of skimmed pasteurized milk. This milk powder can be used to make zero-calorie yogurts, ice creams, milk shakes, baby formulas and other products.
Slutsk Cheese Making Plant is displaying its expanded line of lactose-free products, including a new product - lactose-free sweet cream butter. The assortment also includes glazed cheese curds, cottage cheese, milk with an extended shelf life, butter, chocolate butter, cheese spread and a variety of other cheeses.
Gomel Meat Processing Plant has brought Halal products. On display are salami and sausages, smoked beef products, poultry chips, smoked chicken products, as well as smoked beef products. The company will showcase its latest products, including a new item for the Uzbek market - low-calorie Black Pearl sausage made from beef and poultry.
“The exposition “Belarus. The Taste of Nature” aroused a huge interest among the visitors, including representatives of business, government agencies and the media. The UzProdExpo 2023 exhibition is expected to help promote Belarusian exports, give Belarusian food companies a unique opportunity to showcase their products on the world stage and establish business contacts,” the Belinterexpo company emphasized.
The UzProdExpo 2023 international food expo covers all aspects of the food industry, from production of ingredients to storage and sale of finished products. This year, more than 120 companies from Uzbekistan, Austria, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, China, Kyrgyzstan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Russia, the USA, Turkmenistan, Türkiye and the Czech Republic present their products, advanced technology and innovative solutions at the expo.
