Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Thailand King Maha Vajiralongkorn as the country celebrates National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I am confident that Minsk and Bangkok have great potential for cooperation both in the economic, political and humanitarian sectors and on international platforms, primarily in the UN and ASEAN,” the head of state emphasized.
Aleksandr Lukashenko believes that the geographical distance between our countries does not prevent Belarusians and Thais from successfully accomplishing the urgent tasks of strengthening state sovereignty, improving the welfare of the population, jointly seeking solutions to the world's most pressing peace and security issues, including food, nuclear and military components.
The president wished happiness and health to the King of Thailand and progress and wellbeing to the people of the country.
