It is possible to introduce experience of Gomel municipal services in other regions of Belarus

The experience of recourses economy of the Gomel municipal services can be used in other regions of Belarus, Minister of Housing and Municipal Economy Vladimir Belokhvostov told BelTA. A two-day session of the board of the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Economy of Belarus has opened in Gomel. Within the framework of the session, specialists of the ministry are visiting a number of municipal facilities of the region. In particular, representatives of the ministry visited the company “Spetskommuntrans” where the navigation system GPS to control municipal transport has been introduced. According to Vladimir Belokhvostov, in January-May 2007, the saving rate of its work made up Br30 million. The minister also noted the work of specialists of the boiler house “Kristall” of the municipal unitary company “Gomeloblteploset”. In December 2006, a gas-piston unit to generate heat and electric energy was assembled there. Due to its capacity, the company economizes about Br400 million a year. According to Vladimir Belokhvostov, application of such technical novelties to production has a good economic effect.
