Emergency ministry considering creation of emergency ministry's university

The Belarusian emergency ministry is considering the possibility of creating its own university, Belarusian emergency minister Enver Bariyev told the press today. He took part in festivities timed for the graduation ceremony at Gomel Emergency Workers Institute. According to the minister, now Belarus has a system to educate medium and top professionals able to resolve emergency prevention and alleviation tasks. Belarus has two higher educational establishments, a post-graduation education institute, which is the basic one for the CIS states. At the same time Enver Bariyev spoke for improving the quality and organisation of the ministry's educational system. He believes, creating a university of the emergency ministry can be one of the ways. The minister added, this idea is under consideration.
