Elections to local councils of deputies in Belarus to be held on January 14 2007

The elections to the local councils of deputies of the Republic of Belarus of the twenty-fifth convocation will be held on January 14, 2007. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed relevant degree #607 on October 10. As BelTA learnt in the presidential press service, state agencies and other organizations concerned will have to prepare and conduct the elections in accordance with the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus and in due time. The elections will be funded by the national budget.
