BMP to present storm water processing technology at eco forum in Braslav

The Belarusian Metallurgical Plant (BMP) will present a storm water processing technology at the exhibition of the 5th national ecological forum in Braslav. According to the specialists, the abovementioned technology is advantageous, as the works consumes a great amount of water for technical needs. All atmospheric precipitations are gathered in special pools, undergo refinement and then are used in the production, lawns and roads watering, railway carriages washing. This year the company will construct a new 16-thousand cubic-meter pool for atmospheric precipitation. Today the BMP has two pools with the volume of 9 thousand cubic meters and 12 thousand cubic meters. On the average the company consumed about 20 thousand cubic meters of storm water a month. Most precipitations fall in spring and autumn.
