Belarus will build more ice palaces

Belarus will continue constructing ice palaces in its towns with the population of around 100 thousand people, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said today during a meeting focusing on the participation of a Belarusian ice-hockey team in the Russian national ice-hockey championship. To date, 10 ice palaces have been constructed in the country. None of them is subsidised by the government; all of them operate on self-repayment schemes, the head of state said. “These are normal projects from economic point of view,” he said.
