Belarus President expands safety guarantees for bank deposits

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed Decree No 22 on safety guarantees for households' deposits and Ordinance No 601 on some issues regarding financial activity of banks, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service. The documents are designed to provide additional safety guarantees for deposits of population in the banks and to raise the confidence in the Belarusian banking system.
