Belarus closes consulate general in New York

MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – In line with the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 590 of 18 October 2021, the Consulate General of Belarus in New York will close. The resolution was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 20 October, BelTA informs.
According to the document, the consulate general shall close on 20 October 2021. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was authorized to take care of the organizational and financial aspects of the closure.
The decision comes into force on the day of its official publication.
