Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko arrived in the Kalinkovichi region, Gomel oblast. The head of state will survey the spring sowing campaign in the region and, in particular, the sowing of corn in the agricultural cooperative society Druzhba-Avtyuki.
The president will pay attention to the organization of cultural-mass work, communal servicing of the rural population, development of social infrastructure, beautification of the agro-town Syrod and enhancement of material and technical base of the rural schools. The head of state is expected to visit the Syrod fine arts center, a communal services station Bytservis and a secondary school. Alexander Lukashenko will meet with citizens of the village Syrod.
The agricultural cooperative society Druzhba-Avtyuki was founded in 2005 after the agricultural cooperative society Gulevichskoye merged with a loss-making company Golevichi. Poor land fertility predetermined the specialization of the company – meat and mik production. Last year the output growth made 25 per cent and the gross grain production climbed 34 per cent. The cattle-breeding sphere also reported positive dynamics. On the whole the company is profit-making with the average salaries last year amounting to Br260 thousand.
