Alexander Lukashenko arrives in Zhlobin

Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in the town of Zhlobin (Gomel oblast). BelTA learnt from the presidential press service, the president will visit the town’s sports and recreation centre, a photo exhibition and a swimming pool, will hear out reports on the sport status and development in Zhlobin and Gomel oblast. The head of state is expected to partake in the solemn opening of the ice arena Metallurg and a hockey match between the team of the president of the Republic of Belarus and Gomel oblast hockey veterans.
