Gomel region rescue rangers to patronise children summer camps

Rescuers of Gomel region are going to patronise children recreational camps. Representatives of the Gomel region emergency department told BelTA, for the first time this year it was decided to take care of all children recreational establishments in the region. Personnel of city and district emergency departments will read prevention lectures, arrange demonstrative shows by young rescuers, exhibitions of emergency equipment and vehicles, demonstrate professional skills and partake in cultural events in children summer camps and sanatoriums. The source said, they hope such patronising of children establishments by the emergency ministry will, firstly, influence the observation of fire safety regulations by camp administrations, secondly, allow children to learn the basic actions that should be taken in emergencies.
