In January-September Gomel oblast collected revenues and taxes of Br1,2 trillion. The initially expected revenues were surpassed by Br180 billion, BelTA has been told in the financial department of the oblast executive committee.
According to chief of the department Andrei Kruglei, about a half of the additional earnings were due to overfulfilling of the forecast parameters of the socioeconomic development of the oblast (Br70 billion) and changes in the tax legislation (Br18 billion). Introducing local taxes and duties, higher rates on the resource and property taxes brought about Br92 billion.
Additional resources will let increase assignments on social needs. For instance, over the 9 months expenditures on financing social establishments made Br725 billion, or Br66 billion more than the 2005 budget plan. The oblast budget has additionally allocated Br12,8 billion to the state village revival program.
In January-September the budgetary sphere ensured timely wages and payments for energy resources, medicines.
