Gomel exhibition to display traditions and culture of Japan

GOMEL, 11 August (BelTA) – The exhibition Traditions and Culture of Japan will open at Grigory Vashchenko’s Picture Gallery in Gomel on 11 August, BelTA learnt from gallery funds chief curator Oleg Kurashov. Exhibits have been provided by the Embassy of Japan in Belarus. The collection will feature the major traditions and everyday life of the Japanese. In particular, the visitors will be able to get familiar with tea ceremony sets, Japanese traditional cuisine. There will be also exhibited Japanese dolls, Noh masks, nuptial kimono and other things.
