Today Gomel will celebrate the best oblast businessmen – winners of the contest “The Best Businessman 2005”, deputy chairman of the economy committee of the oblast executive committee Marina Krivun told BelTA.
According to her, about 300 applications were submitted to partake in the contest virtually from all regions and towns of the oblast. The contest had 21 nominations including production of food, consumer and industrial goods, communal services and the creation of employment opportunities.
The best food producer award went to the joint venture Belsyr (the town of Kalinkovichi, the award for the best manufacturer of construction materials – joint stock company Uvarovichistroimaterialy (Gomel oblast), the best services provider – additional liability company NTS (Gomel). As for printing and advertising, the winner was limited liability company Press Reklama, the best provider of medical services was recognized the limited liability company Medeya.
Marina Krivun noted that the tradition to distinguish the best businessmen in small business had originated in 1998 in the oblast. Such actions help entrepreneurs feel that their efforts are in demand and get an appropriate appraisal.
