Prosecution to step up control over fulfilment of de-bureaucratisation directive No. 2

Belarus prosecution will step up control over the fulfilment of directive No. 2 Measures for Further De-bureaucratisation of State Apparatus, Belarus prosecutor general Piotr Miklashevich told a press conference in Minsk on January 17.
“The procuracy supervision over the fulfilment of the directive will be more effective. Measures will be stricter”, he said.
In 2006 after examinations carried out by prosecution bodies 280 officials were warned about the inadmissibility of breaking regulations on handling people’s applications. 830 people faced disciplinary and administrative responsibility.
