Delegation of people’s government of Xinjian Uighur Autonomous Region of China to visit Belarus

A delegation of the people’s government of the Xinjian Uighur Autonomous Region of China will visit Belarus on May 24-26. The Chinese guests intend to get familiar with trade and economic potential of Belarus and opportunities for investment cooperation, the Belarusian party of the Belarusian-Chinese commission told BelTA. The representatives of the Xinjian Uighur Autonomous Region plan to visit MTZ where they will hold negotiations and attend an exhibition of the Belarusian agricultural and automobile equipment. The Chinese delegation is scheduled to meet with the administration of the economy ministry, the concern Belresursy, the Belarusian Railways and representatives of Minsk City Council. The Minsk office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host a meeting between business circles of Belarus and the Xinjian Uighur Autonomous Region of China. The Chinese guests plan to visit Production Associaiton Gomselmash and free economic zone Gomel-Raton; hold meetings in Gomel oblast executive committee and the Gomel office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Chinese delegation will also attend the 7th international universal exhibition-fair “Spring-2006 in Gomel”.
