Cyprian SB Telecom interested in investing in Belarusian cement mills

Cyprian company SB Telecom is interested in investing in the reconstruction and refitting of Belarusian cement mills.
The press service of the Belarusian head of state told BelTA, on May 24 Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with SB Telecom CEO Ead Samawi. During the meeting other joint investment projects were discussed as well. In particular, SB Telecom intends to take part in building a premium hotel in Minsk.
The head of state thanked the investor for the company’s charity efforts in Belarus. “It is hard to find a person that much charitable in Belarus”, said Alexander Lukashenko. He noted, the money had been mainly invested in medical projects, healthcare development and reconstruction of hospitals.
The Belarus President underscored, “We have no prejudices against your activities. Contrariwise, I trust you and am ready to consider proposals for building up your business in Belarus”.
In turn, Ead Samawi assured Alexander Lukashenko that SB Telecom will follow open and transparent business practices in Belarus.
