Belarusian agricultural companies to receive USD 20mn budget loan for fuel procurement

The Belarusian agricultural companies have received a budget loan totaling USD 20 million for procurement of fuel for the spring sowing campaign, BelTA was informed by chief of the mechanization department of the ministry for agriculture and foodstuffs Nikolai Labushev. In his words, the loan will allow agricultural companies buying 40,000 tons of diesel which in turn will speed up sowing campaign. Nikolai Labushev informed that oblast executive committees will be responsible for the fuel distribution. According to him, the Belnefteknim concern has sufficient quantity of fuel for agricultural companies. The loan should be reimbursed by March 31, 2007.
