Belarus, Pakistan sign contracts in industry, medicine at business forum in Islamabad

Belarusian and Pakistani companies have signed a number of documents during the business forum in Islamabad, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

A large business delegation from Belarus, more than 40 representatives of domestic enterprises, arrived in Pakistan as part of the visit of the Belarusian head of state. According to Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov, eight documents worth more than $17 million were ready for signing on the sidelines of the forum. Since the negotiations will be taking place for two days, this amount may increase.

Among the signed documents is a 5-year distribution agreement between Bellakt and Nutrifood & Pharmaceuticals.

Beltsvetmet and Raas International Trading logistics company signed a contract for the supply of tinplate for 2025.

A memorandum of intent was inked by Belshina and Shahzad Trade Links on the sale of Belshina products in Pakistan; Minsk Motor Plant signed an agreement with this Pakistani company on the supply of products for next year. A memorandum of understanding was concluded between Minsk Tractor Works and Green Corporate Initiative Company on assembly production of tractors having over 100 horsepower.

The Belmedpreparaty pharmaceutical company signed a memorandum of cooperation with Bio Medical System Company in the field of registration and supply of medicines. Business contacts were also established in the veterinary drugs industry: a contract was signed by Belarus' Belvitunipharm and Mustafa Brothers Company.

Twenty-eight companies are participating in the business forum from the Belarusian side, and about a hundred from the Pakistani side.
