Belarus grows GDP by 8.4% to Br 69.5 trillion in January-September

In January-September this year the Belarusian GDP totaled Br 69.5 trillion in actual prices, an increase of 8.4% in comparable prices as against same time last year, BelTA learnt in the Ministry of Statistics and Analysis. On the whole, GDP is expected to grow by 8% or 9% this year and by 8.3% over the nine months 2007. The industrial value added accounts for 26.6% of GDP, transport and communications – 8.8%, trade and public catering – 9.9%, construction and agriculture – for 8.2% and 7.8% respectively.
