Belarus approves Hospitality Industry program for 2021-2025

MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian Hospitality Industry state program for 2021-2025 has been approved by Council of Ministers' Resolution No.58 of 29 January 2021, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The goal of the state program is to develop a modern competitive tourist complex, increase the contribution of tourism to the development of the national economy.
Priorities in the tourism sector will include the development of inbound and domestic tourism, improvement of the competitiveness of tourist services and the promotion of national tourist brands in the world market.
The program consists of three subprograms: Personnel, training and methodological support in tourism, Marketing of tourist services and Development of tourist industry facilities.
The implementation of the program will be supported by the national and local budgets, the executor's own funds, and other sources. The total amount of financing will make up Br488.45 million.
