Rechitsa to make terry robes for Armani

MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) - Rechitsa Textile held talks with U.S. Armani which resulted in an agreement to sign a contract for sewing terry robes designed by the customer for the hotels in the United States, BelTA learned from the company.
The first consignment of 330 terry robes is ready for dispatch. Previously Rechitsa Textile had no experience of working with American companies.
In 2011 Rechitsa Textile signed a supply contract with Estonia’s Mindrentrans to deliver a trial consignment of terry towels and bed sheets to study the demand. The first shipment is small, just ?1,100 worth of products.
Traditionally Rechitsa Textile exports goods to Russia and Kazakhstan. In January-May 2011 the company signed ten contracts with Russia. Rechitsa Textile delivered $152,700 worth of products (15% of exports) to new customers. The main partners of Rechitsa Textile are wholesale and retail companies.
Rechitsa Textile was founded in 1927 as a stocking-rope workshop Krasny Oktyabr. In 2003 it was reorganized into a joint stock company. The company produces towels, bed sheets, napkins and bathrobes, tableware and decorative sets, waffle and terry cloth, bed linen.
