Rechitsa region posts Gomel oblast record yield

The combiner team of Valentin Solomakho and Alexander Gran from the agricultural company Kholmech, Rechitsa region, has harvested more than 4,000 tonnes of grain as of morning August 8. This an all-time record in the Gomel oblast. This is the first time that the region has reached such result, BelTA learned in the agriculture and food committee of the Gomel oblast executive committee. The oblast in general has grown good harvest. For example the yield in the agricultural company Kholmech is 80 centners per hectare. Since the beginning of the harvest company the Solomakho-Gran team has been a leader in the oblast-wide harvest competition. They were the first to harvest 1,000 tonnes in the country and are still holding their leading position.
