BelTA correspondent Violetta Draliuk wins journalists’ contest “Rescuer of the Year” in Gomel

Winners of the first oblast contest “Rescuer of the Year” has been honoured today in Gomel. BelTA own correspondent for Gomel oblast Violetta Draliuk has won the nomination “For personal contribution in enhancing the awareness about safe living and developing voluntary movement. Diplomas and statuettes have been presented to 8 more participants of the contest: officers of the emergencies agencies, chairmen of the regional executive committees of the oblast. About 200 people took part in the contest “Rescuer of the Year”. The contest was divided into three nominations: for the greatest contribution in the work to ensure safety of objects and territories, prevention of deaths in fires and other emergency situations; for high professionalism in saving people and liquidating the emergency situations; for personal contribution in enhancing the awareness about safe living and developing voluntary movement. The oblast contest “Rescuer of the Year” will be made traditional.
