Belarusian students win gold at All-Russian Programming Olympiad

MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) – Belarusian students have won medals and diplomas of the 12th All-Russian School Team Programming Olympiad, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Education Ministry. Two teams from Gomel and Mozyr took part in the final stage of the competition. Gold medals and diplomas were bestowed upon Gennady Korotkevich, Dmitry Demidko, Sergei Nichiporchik and others. Partaking in the event were students from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan. The All-Russian School Team Programming Olympiad was organized by the Russian Education Ministry, the Education Committee of the St. Petersburg Administration, the St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, the Altai State Technical University in St. Petersburg, Barnaul, Tashkent, Tbilisi and Almaty.
