Belarusian Gomselmash to ship first GS-812 soya harvester to Argentina
2 March 2021
GOMEL, 2 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Gomselmash intends to ship the first GS-812 forage harvester sample to Argentina in 2021. The harvester is fitted with a soya header, BelTA has learned.
Argentinian farmers focus heavily on soya farming since soya beans sell well on the home market and abroad. Argentina ships soybean oil meals to many countries across the globe. The oil meals are used to feed pigs, poultry, and cattle. “We intend to expand the product choice and will ship the first sample of the cereal harvester GS-812 with a soya header to the Argentinian market in 2021,” Gomselmash representatives said.
The company will also ship two FS-80 forage harvesters to its branch in Argentina.
Plans have been made to ship ten high-performance forage harvesters (FS-80 and FS-8060) to farmers in Latin America in 2021.
Gomselmash's branch started fruitful cooperation with Argentina 14 years ago.
The Belarusian holding company Gomselmash is one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machines. It is one of the leaders on the world market of harvesters and other sophisticated agricultural machines. Its harvesters are used in fields of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, China, South Korea, and Baltic states. Gomselmash operates an extensive distribution chain, runs joint ventures and assembly factories. The company marked its 90th anniversary on 15 October 2020.
